So... who am I, and why should you trust me with your dog's grooming?
Fair question!
In the almost 15 years I've been grooming, I've made just about every grooming mistake there is to make. I've spent thousands on things that don't work, continuing education that teaches nothing, and tried a lot of techniques that lead me straight to failure. On the other hand, I've also learned what does actually work! So my struggles will become your grooming win from the very beginning. Pull up a chair, and I'll tell you how I went from scrubbing dog butts for a living to teaching dog lovers how to groom like pros... with a healthy dose of sarcasm along the way!
MEET THE GROOMER + STYLIST
Hey, I'm Andrea!
I've been professionally grooming dogs since 2013. I've fluffed thousands of doodles, trimmed enough nails to fill a swimming pool, and scrubbed more dog butts than any human should ever have to.
I'm also a mom of five, my lower back files a formal complaint every morning, and after years of high-velocity dryers screaming in my ears, my hearing is about on par with your grandma's crusty little white dog.
So I've decided it's time for Plan B.
Instead of grooming every dog myself, I'm going to teach you how to do it like a pro for yourself or as a full blown career! You'll learn the same techniques, products, tools, and shortcuts I've spent years mastering, so you can make money and/or keep your own dog looking and feeling amazing, all in the comfort of your own home.

I wasn't born a Groomer like a lot of the famous Stylists out there... I have an unrelated BA and MA!
I have a BS in Animal Health & Behavior
I graduated as a Veterinary Technician.
I am a Certified Holistic Pet Professional
I owned a Grooming Academy for 6 years and graduated 366 Professional Groomers & Stylists
Though I started grooming in 2013, it took me a whole year to learn to style on-the-job: which is what lead me to open my Grooming School!
